Help a Black man leave abusive & racist household
Donation protected
My name is Jasyn Hughes and I am a 19 year old black man living in Santa Clarita, CA. I am currently being subjected to living in an emotionally abusive and racist household. I had been welcomed into a family friend’s home, which quickly became unsafe within the last month, due to the owner of the home making constant threats aimed towards me.
Over the last two weeks, things have gotten progressively worse there. I have been called racial slurs, been threatened with the police multiple times, and treated without any care or consideration. On Saturday, August 9th, I was pulled out of my workplace by members of the family, and more or less forced to submit myself into hospital for "drug abuse"(marijuana), being told that going there was my only option if I wanted to be welcomed back into the home. With no other options, no other family, and no other place to live, I complied and went. Although there was no actual drug abuse problem, I suffer from severe clinical depression, and was transferred to the psychiatric ward due to self-harm worries. I was released yesterday, August 11th, and was refused access to the home and my belongings.
I am not welcomed in that home, and frankly wish I had the opportunity to leave on my own way sooner. I am now left with nowhere to sleep, minimal money for food and transportation, and hospital bills that I can not afford. I would use this money to establish a safe living arrangement, get myself back on my feet, and pay for all the hospital bills.
My Venmo is @Veynuh and my Cashapp is $Vaynuh if its easier to send through there.
Thank you in advance for any support!
