Help a Black Elder Rebuild After Tornado Devastation

Donation protected
On May 16th, a massive tornado hit St. Louis and completely destroyed my mother-in-law's home. Theresa is 61 years old and lived in the Greater Ville neighborhood for almost 30 years, moving in to her mother's home after she passed away. Thankfully, she was able to make it to the basement during the storm and remained physically unhurt, but was trapped until her neighbors could come help her get out.

The house is unsalvageable and a total loss. The roof is in the backyard, the back wall is completely torn off, and everything inside is covered in insulation, dust, and debris. We aren't sure what items can be taken out and saved, but we know Theresa will need to find a new place to live. We're asking for support in getting her back on her feet - to help restart her life because of this unexpected tragedy.
