I am Black disabled trans non-binary femme community member asking for your support. I have been living off weekly unemployment since last year and have struggled to maintain my basic needs such as food and comfort while also paying rent and utilities. As of now I owe 5 months of rent which I have been unable to pay and my lease is up for renewal.

As an immigrant who has often had to leave homes and places before I was ready the prospect of moving again frightens me just as much as eviction does. I would like to be able to renew my lease and am coming to community for support through this time.

I am asking for $7000 to cover 5 months of back rent, living expenses, utilities, and more.
