Imagine a private, safe, queer and POC-centered space to be photographed or tattooed in. A space that is by us and for us.
Our vision is a multimedia art studio which will offer any kind of art service needed. A collective of progressive, passionate artists coming together to make the city brighter and more inclusive.
Services will include custom tattoos, studio portrait and boudoir photography, graphic design, mural and art commissions, and other visual art services. Having a space will allow us room to focus on our individual crafts and make sure clients feel safe and cared for while being tattooed or photographed.
Meet the owners: Rich Parker is a tattooer of over 15 years and Alex Parker is a freelance photographer of over 10 years. We have dreamed of a co-working space for us and other QTIBIPOC creatives for over 5 years, and we have finally been given the opportunity to make this a reality. The studio space we will be moving into is also located walking distance to downtown Atlanta, which will allow us to have access to a broader clientele.
Due to COVID-19 and other roadblocks we have been forced to postpone our dream, but you can help us raise the funds to make our dream a reality. We will be getting the keys to our space August 1st, but the work does not end there. Funds raised will help us cover deposit, buildout to make sure the space is up to health code, essential equipment and workspace materials, business licensing, business cards and other advertising materials, and decor. There will be other expenses but this initial $10,000 goal will help us to begin taking clients and pave the way for a thriving, growing business.
