I'm a paid on-call firefighter in Bemidji, MN. I also work as a carpenter to provide for my family.

I have to have shoulder surgery on September 30th to reattach my bicep tendon and remove part of my clavicle. This is going to put me out of work for at least 3-4 months. While I've been waiting for the surgery, I've only been able to work 1-2 days a week.

I'm married with 2 daughters, and my wife works full-time in healthcare.

At the moment, we are behind on all of our bills, and our mortgage is about to default as well.

I hate to ask for help, but I don't know what else to do.
