I'm reaching out on behalf of a dear friend who is currently facing one of the toughest battles of her life. She has recently been diagnosed with Stage 1 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC)—an aggressive form of breast cancer that requires intense treatment and has turned her world upside down.

She’s a dedicated teacher who has spent years pouring her heart into the classroom and shaping young minds. Now, as she undergoes chemotherapy and fights this disease head-on, she’s had to take time off work. The toll of treatment has led to frequent absences and severely limited her income. On top of the emotional and physical strain, she’s struggling with the financial burden that comes with her care.

One of her biggest needs right now is a high-quality medical wig. Due to the harsh effects of chemotherapy, she’s experiencing significant hair loss. Unfortunately, her insurance doesn’t cover wigs, and after reaching out to local wig banks, we’ve learned that there are currently very limited resources available in our area. The cost of the wig she needs is $1,500.

This wig is more than just hair—it's confidence, comfort, and a sense of normalcy during a time that feels anything but normal. It’s about helping her feel like herself again while she fights for her health.
