I’m creating this GoFundMe for someone who has been like a mother to me in every way that truly matters. She has been a constant source of love, guidance, and support in my life — always putting others first, even when she’s struggling herself.

For over a year, she has been dealing with severe pain in her left knee. During that time, she did everything doctors recommended to try to avoid surgery. She went to countless appointments and received multiple injections in her knee in hopes that something would finally fix the problem.

Only one of those injections provided any real relief — and even then, it only lasted about two months before the pain returned just as bad as before. After continuing to push for answers, a doctor finally told her what was really going on: her knee is misaligned, and at this point, injections are no longer a solution. They can’t correct the underlying issue.

The only real option left is a total knee replacement on her left knee. This surgery is necessary for her to regain mobility and live without constant pain.

Unfortunately, the financial burden is significant. Before insurance will cover anything, she must pay $5,000 out of pocket upfront just to proceed with the surgery. After that deductible is met, insurance will cover 80% of the remaining cost, leaving her responsible for the final 20%, along with additional recovery-related expenses.

She is not someone who asks for help easily, which is why I’m asking on her behalf. The cost of this surgery is the only thing standing between her and the care she desperately needs.

All funds raised will go directly toward:

• The $5,000 upfront payment required before surgery

• Her 20% share of the remaining medical bills

• Recovery and post-surgery expenses
