Hello, my name is Paula Mayhew. I got a text this morning that made my stomach drop. My friend Lori let me know that there was a fire at the house she, her husband Matt and their 1 1/2 year old Leah were living in as apartment tenants. They have lost absolutely everything and will have to start from scratch. I cannot fathom being in that situation at all let alone with a baby. They are truly a special family and very good friends of mine. Their apartment insurance won’t come close to covering the cost of replacing everything they owned. I am beyond grateful that they, and everyone else in that house, are safe and were, physically, not injured. Any help you could give would be extremely appreciated.
