Update- Billy started Chemo January 7th.

Update 1- We are finally back home and happy to be here. I prayed that we’d have some angels sent our way along this cancer journey and especially on our trip to MD Anderson in Houston. The trip was scary because we didn’t know if Bill Potter would be strong enough but God pulled us through and him through. We met so many nice people from the airport to the hotel to the doctors. We had a surprise visit from Kazeem Aremu, a longtime friend, we had a nice family ( the Anderson’s) that we met on the shuttle from the hotel to the shuttle for maybe 10 minutes and we come back to the hotel to find out that they paid for our hotel room ❤️, it brought me to tears because when Gods prayers are answered it is overwhelming and it is an amazing feeling. We were lucky enough to have a smooth trip back and we were invited last night to see a Christmas show at the Newberry Opera House by Mike Farris and it was amazing. We still have a fight ahead of us., we still need a PET scan that we couldn’t get done yet because of scheduling and we still have to get a treatment plan depending on what type of cancer Billy has so we will know more around December 17th right before Christmas. We are don’t know how we will continue to go back and forth to Houston to MD Anderson flying and hotel rooms and keep a roof over our head but we know God will provide as he has done already and will continue to do. If you haven’t already or if you feel compelled by the Holy Spirit to give please do and whether it’s money or praying or a kind word please continue. It’s working! We’re praying the tests will reveal the type of cancer Billy has will be with mutations because that’s the most treatable but whatever type it is we’re gonna fight it with faith and love and hope! #FaithOvercancer!
