Help a 90-year-old Stay Independent

Donation protected
My name is Roslyn, and I need your help. I will be 90 years old this Halloween, and I suffer from severe arthritis. Saidah, my Personal Trainer, is my lifesaver. She keeps me strong, healthy, and active. Without her, I would be stuck at home, lacking the strength and energy it takes to live independently. With Saidah's help, I am strong, energetic, and able to walk three miles every day. Saidah is a single parent with four children, and like most working Americans, living from pay-check to pay-check. In mid-August the worst happended. Saidah got sick.

Unfortunately, Saidah's story is not unique and all too painfully real.

When Saidah became too sick to work, she went to the emergengy room at Emory Healthcare. They refused her admission, and sent her instead to Piedmont Hospital where she was immediately admitted, diagnosed with kidney failue and a torn stomach lining. She was hospitalized for two weeks, released, and then re-admitted two days later for emergency stomach surgery.

Miraculouly, Saidah is now, back at home and back to work. But her hospital bills are piling up on top of rent and other overdue bills. I estimate that her medical bills alone will be over $10,000. Add that to unpaid rent, food, and money needed as children return to school.
The survivior of a serious illness, Saidah is left without sufficient money to get through the next few weeks. Saidah faces even more limitations as she doesn't own a car and relies solely on public transportation. It will take weeks for her to make up for wages lost during her hospitalization.

I am reaching out to all of you for support. Saidah is too proud to ask for help herself, but I couldn't ignore her need. Together, we can help Saidah keep her family together.
I understand that times are tough for everyone, but even the smallest donation can make a big difference. If you are unable to donate, please help by spreading the word on social media or with your friends and family.

From the bottom of my heart, I want to express my deepest gratitude for any help you can provide. Saidah and her family truly need help and will appreciate your support. Thank you.
