MY GOAL IS IN PESOS ($3200 cdn)..$35 is about 500 pesos here.

You know I’ve been here over 20 winters doing volunteer pastoral work mainly with dying or sick expats. Now, it´s time I tried to get home!

People don’t realize that in Canada a simple, modest 1 bedroom apartment is $2000 a month. With 1st and last you need at least $4000 deposit to start just to get a place to sleep without furniture or food.

Hi, My name is Kenny. I'm 69 years old and need medical care in Canada.

Five years ago, after much prayer, I sold everything I owned in Canada to move here full-time, knowing I was answering God’s call to serve. It was my joy and privilege to give my time, energy, and love to help others.

But now… my circumstances have become desperate. My health is declining, and without insurance or resources, I cannot get the care I need. I live only on a small pension, and it is no longer enough to survive here.

My heart longs to go home—to be in Ottawa with my family. I have two beautiful grandchildren I’ve never met, and I deeply want to spend my remaining years with them.

I prayed over whether to ask for help and was reminded: “Pride cometh before the fall” (Proverbs). With humility and a grateful heart, I am reaching out to ask for your kindness.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 ... Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.

-Minimal used furniture to start over

-Airfare for myself and my beloved cat, my faithful companion
