I’m a 17-year-old robotics apprentice who has been building robots for years. I’ve won multiple competitions, including the Big Bang Competition in 2023, and now I’m raising funds to build bigger, smarter robots — and even create robotics kits so others can learn to build their own.
Hi, my name is Suleymaan Khan, I’m 17 years old and currently doing a robotics apprenticeship. I’ve been passionate about building robots for years — designing, 3D printing, and programming everything from simple prototypes to fully functional humanoid arms. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to win multiple competitions, including the Big Bang Competition in 2023, and each project has pushed me to dream bigger.
My ultimate goal is to create robots that make a real difference in people’s lives, especially for the elderly, who often struggle with independence and everyday tasks. I’ve already built working prototypes, but to take my ideas further, I need better motors, sensors, and stronger materials — all of which are expensive.
Beyond that, I also want to share my passion with others by creating DIY robotics kits that people can use to build their own robots, just like I did when I started. My hope is to inspire more young people and hobbyists to get into robotics by giving them the tools to create, learn, and experiment.
That’s why I’m asking for your support. Every donation will go directly into funding the parts I need to build the next generation of my robots, as well as developing these kits so more people can experience the excitement of robotics.
Your support doesn’t just help me as a young inventor — it helps push forward an idea of creating affordable, meaningful robots and empowering others to join the world of robotics.
