What is WIN?
WIN - womens innovation network
- mission: to BE a community for women in business to embrace the future and realize change through sharing knowledge, ideas, skills, and passion to support professional and personal development.
- vision: provide an inclusive framework for learning, sharing and networking open to women.
WIN womens innovation network is a community for business women in Fredericksburg and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. With monthly meetings that provide opportunities for networking, learning, and sharing of skills to support professional and personal growth; featuring speakers, panel discussions, moderated chats and workshop sessions.
WIN has proven its worth with a 3+ years record or providing business learning, networking and resources to women in the Texas Hill Country community.
For example speakers this year were able to address business needs requested by community related to finance, banking, organization prioritizing and planning. Everything is member driven, and created for the benefit of the member community.
WIN also gives back by actively supporting female focused organizations within the community such as Heart of the HIlls Mom Center, and The Needs Council.
We are ready to take the next steps in our growth and development.
Going forward WIN is actively taking the steps to formalize our structure as an official 501(c) (3) and is seeking to raise the funds to take this next step. Becoming an official non-profit will allow WIN to access funds to support and grow the organization. Simply put funding will allow WIN to increase opportunities for members.
What the funds will be used for
The primary focus will be officially forming and filing all the paperwork for both State and Federal recognition. The law firm CRN law located in San Antonio has been selected for this purpose and a letter of intent will be issued upon availibility of funds.
Secondary focuses will be the creation of a branding/logo package with UpperCase design of Kerrville, and the creation of a website to have as a central location for all things WIN. through a domain which has already been secured.
