Hi there! I am fundraising money to study abroad in Morocco learning Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic and the Moroccan dialect of Arabic (Darija). Along with learning Arabic we will be immersing ourselves in Moroccan Berber and Amazigh culture. My name is Tyrese Commander. I am a black muslim high school student from Brooklyn, NY with a strong love for world history, especially everything to do with Africa. this is where my desire to go to Morocco this summer came from. This life-changing opportunity will help me gain a greater understanding of the world, gain a new sense of maturity and independence, and of course, learn about new cultures and gain global human resource perspective. 

 

I usually do not relish asking others for financial assistance, but I am an eager learner desperately wishing to embark on an excellent enrichment opportunity that will help me become the best I can be. Therefore, I need to pay off the rest of the program costs, including Airline fees, and the tuition, which is 6,050. Any money donated will be used solely for this opportunity.
