As Todd's niece and the rest of our family we have decided to start this fundraiser. As a lot of us know, the emotional, physical and mental impact of battling health issues can cause a significant amount of stress and no one should ever have to worry about finances during those times.

Todd, a devoted father of two teenage boys, a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and a good friend to many, has had a rough few months. Todd was diagnosed in January of this year with Thyroid Cancer which metastisized to the Parathyroid and Lymph Nodes. He has since had surgery on May 22nd, to remove his full thyroid, one parathyroid and multiple lymph nodes. While the surgery was a success, he still has a long road ahead of him. Todd has been off work for some time now due to being sick and will continue to be off work while he recovers from this surgery and receives radioactive iodine treatment. Right now, the rest of Todd's battle is uncertain. Todd's wife Kelly has taken some time off work during this time, as she wants nothing more than to be there for her husband. While Kelly stays with him, she has also been traveling back and fourth to Toronto so that his son's can also be with their Dad.
