We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization! This means your donation to our R2AK effort is tax-deductible! And, should we be so fortunate as to raise more money than we need for the 2026 race, we’ll put the funds toward future activities like:

• More races
• Introducing women and girls to sailing who might not otherwise get a chance to ride the wind
• Partnering with established NFPs which help women reach higher than they knew they could

Team Fly Girls consists of five adventurous, badass women who happen to have fallen out of a few planes a few times. And we sail a little too! But as incredible as we are, we need your help:

To achieve our goal of finishing 2026's Race to Alaska, proving (again, because it never gets old) that women on a mission are not to be trifled with, we need equipment. We have our boat, a 1982 Hobie 33 named "Fast Forward," but as you would expect of a 40+ year old boat, she needs some TLC and some upgrades - a couple of new sails, and a pedal drive, for starters.

In addition to these basic tools for R2AK success, we also need things like foul weather gear, emergency locator beacons, upgrades to Fast Forward's standing and running rigging, bear spray, freeze-dried meals, and about a metric ton of trail mix.

Every tax-deductible cent you give to Team Fly Girls will be spent on necessities for successfully and safely running the Race to Alaska.** And who knows? We just might win!
