Help Me Restore My Smile and Rebuild My Confidence
Hello, my name is SUPERWOMAN'Vanessa, and I’m a single mother raising three children on my own with no help, and that is fine with me. I normally don't ask for help cause everyone is having their own problems. But I am about to turn 40 years old on April 26th, and having a dental problem if I live until 60, that's a very long time to live with only 13 teeth left, and they are getting worn out from eating with them.
In 2017, my life changed forever. I was in a severe car accident while 9 months pregnant. I lost my baby, and I had to learn how to walk all over again. That time in my life broke me in ways that are hard to put into words. For a long time, I stopped caring about myself and how I looked. I really told myself, "I don't care about my teeth or my weight or how I look, that's not going to make someone treat me good." I just felt so alone when I needed love and support.
Over time, I’ve worked hard to heal—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Today, I can honestly say I love myself again, and I have a strong desire to care for myself and continue helping others.
One thing I still struggle with is my smile. Due to dental issues I haven’t been able to afford to fix, I often feel self-conscious. It affects my confidence in everyday life, from speaking to others to simply smiling freely. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE TO SMILE AND LAUGH EVEN WHEN NOTHING IS FUNNY!!!
As a single mother, my children always come first, and I’ve had to put my own needs aside. Now, I’m asking for help so I can finally take care of myself too—so I can feel confident, healthy, and whole.
I am currently working on starting a non-profit to help mentally ill and autistic adults learn how to do things for themselves and provide positive mentorship. Also, I will be helping single moms, homeless people, and my community.
I am raising $10,000 to cover the cost of necessary dental work. I know the dental work will cost much more than $10,000, but I was going to do some research to see if I could make a down payment and make payments on the rest.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to me. If you’re unable to give, sharing my story would be a blessing. Also, I am making this GoFundMe so that the funds go right to the dentist. I don't want to cash out the money in my own bank; I want it to go straight to the dentist's office, I find.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me on this journey of healing and rebuilding. (IF YOU HAPPEN TO KNOW ANY LEGIT GOOD DENTIST OFFICES THAT DO GREAT DENTAL IMPLANTS, PLEASE EMAIL ME SOME LOCATIONS. I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA)
I FORGOT TO ADD NO WESTERN DENTAL. THEY CHARGED ME A LOT OF MONEY AND DID A HORRIBLE JOB ON THE WORK THEY DONE THOSE TEETH HAD TO BE REMOVED.
With love and gratitude,
SUPERWOMAN'VANESSA
