Help Sara Focus on Healing, Not Finances

Hi, my name is Shelly, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my dear friend, Sara. A few years ago, I was in a similar situation, facing a cancer diagnosis and the uncertainty that comes with it. During that time, I was incredibly fortunate to have the support of my family and friends, and I want to offer the same support to Sara now.

Sara was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, a result of the treatment she received for lymphoma in her 20s. She is scheduled for major surgery in early January, and will need 8-12 weeks to recover. Like many people, she doesn’t have months of savings set aside to cover her living expenses during this time—and the stress of worrying about finances while she’s trying to heal is something I know all too well.

On top of that, Sara is a dedicated mom to two wonderful kids, and I know they are always at the forefront of her mind. I want her to be able to focus on her recovery and on being with her children, without the added burden of financial worry.
