I am asking for help on behalf of my nephew, Ryan. He has been displaced from his home following a fire in his block of flats. He has lost many of the everyday belongings and essential items he depended on due to water damage, leaving him facing the difficult task of replacing things at a time when he has already been through so much.

This is compounded by the fact that Ryan has Stargardt disease and is legally blind. He relies on specialist technology and equipment to navigate the world independently, most of which was among the belongings damaged or lost in the aftermath of the fire. All he has are his phone and the clothes he was wearing. Replacing the lost items isn't simply about replacing possessions. They are tools that help him read, communicate, travel, manage everyday tasks and maintain his independence.

We want to raise money for him to help replace some of his possessions, cover his practical necessities.
