We’ve been facing months of financial hardship due to the transition from disability benefits to SSI. The switch has caused long delays in payments or no payment due to difficult circumstances and unexpected gaps that left us behind on essential bills like mortgage and utilities. We’ve done everything we can to keep up, but the strain has taken a heavy toll. As you know Andrew was the only person working for years, now, I am currently looking and applying to jobs but our location is not the best for jobs right now. As I continue searching for work opportunities, I’m hoping we can at least get caught up on mortgage and utilities.
