If you were told that you had 1 to 5 years left to live what would you do? Right now we are battling to save my mother's life. She is only 51 years old and not ready to go. She has a terminal cancer disease call Metastatic Leiomyosarcoma which is extremely rare and an aggressive form of cancer. Cancer started in her uterus and rapidly spread to her lungs within 2 months. We are not without hope, and we are exhausting every avenue and treatment possible to help extend my mothers life. We do however need to rely on the generous donations of kind people like yourselves to make this happen.
My mother, Priscilla, has been offered chemotherapy, hormonal treatments, and clinical trials as a means of palliative care to ease the symptoms and pain. Please help extend my mothers life from 1 year to 5 years. If she is blessed with an additional 5 years she will live her life further to the fullest, spend as much time with her children and grandchildren, and take every day as a gift. So many people in our family depend and rely on her; she is our rock and our foundation. She is the matriarch of our family. A mother, a daughter, a soul mate, are just a few of the words used to describe her. The loss of Priscilla would be devastating to the family.
What had started as a routine hysterectomy quickly progressed into the discovery of a stage 4 cancer. Today we are pleading for kind souls to make a small donation, any donation of any size will be much appreciated. Because this caught everyone off guard, we are behind the ball on bills and upcoming expenses. To help extend my mothers life and to prepare for "end of life" costs we are aggressively trying to raise $50,000. Previously my mother, Priscilla, kept her job to keep saving and using money as needed. However, the cancer has since progressed, and the pain is too unbearable to work through.
The kind and generous donations from you will go towards the following:
Health insurance deductible
Copays
Supplementing her lost income from her job
Hospice care when needed
and finally, funeral costs when the time should come.
Please help us avoid the final cost listed above for as long as we can. We want and need Priscilla in our lives and are not ready to say goodbye. She is not ready. Please donate, if you cannot donate, please share our story with your friends and family. Perhaps someone you know is willing to make a donation or to share our story further.
Thank you so much!
