…Cancer? Hardly Know Her. Help Nat Conquer Chemo!

My best friend and roommate, Natalie Walker, was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in November 2024. Since then, she has faced every step of this journey with strength, courage, and the kind of resilience that has left me speechless.

In December, she underwent a lumpectomy, and while we all hoped for the best, the results showed that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. Additional testing also revealed that she carries the Chek2 genetic mutation, increasing her risk of developing cancer again in the future. Because of this, she now has to undergo 12 rounds of chemotherapy, which will keep her out of work for much longer than expected.

My goal is to make sure that Nat is spending her time resting, healing, and perfecting her ~post-chemo hat & fuzzy sock collection~ Not stressing about financial burdens.
