Help Nana Rebuild After Eaton Fires
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Kelly. For 60 years, My Nana, Mrs. Dorothea Brooks has called her house in Altadena home—a place filled with love, memories, and the warmth of family. But in the heartbreaking turn of events, her beloved home burned to the ground, leaving her with nothing but ashes. As a disabled 88-year-old, Nana has lost everything she worked so hard for, and the road to rebuilding is overwhelming.
Nana has always been a strong, independent woman—the type to give rather than ask for help. She has never been one to lean on others, but this time, she truly needs us. Through all of this, her faith has never wavered. She loves the Lord with all her heart and trusts that He will make a way, even in the darkest of times.
Despite this unimaginable loss, Nana remains the loving and resilient mother, grandmother and great grandmother to those who adore her dearly. While we are incredibly grateful that she is safe, the costs of starting over—from necessities to rebuilding a home—are too much for an elderly person living off of social security.
This Go -Fund Me fundraiser will help Nana rebuild her home and everything she lost.
