Jessie Myers’ sweet and sassy 5-year-old rescue dog, Meira, was recently run over by a car while sleeping in the sunny grass in Florida. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her. She's a fighter and has been bravely battling to survive, and her loving owner, Jessie, is doing everything she can to give Meira the best chance of recovery. Those who know Jessie know her heart for animals and the compassion she has for all of the animals in her care.

Meira suffered a broken scapula and a hip injury that requires surgical intervention. Beyond the surgery, Meira will need extensive physical therapy to regain her strength and mobility. The costs associated with her medical care are significant, and Jessie needs our help to give Meira the best chance at a full recovery.

Meira is a loving and playful dog who deserves a second chance. She's brought so much joy to Jessie's life, and now it's our turn to show Meira the same love and support. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in Meira’s journey to healing.

Throughout her life, Jessie has consistently shown incredible compassion and care for all animals, big and small. From horses to mice, any creature that crosses her path receives the best possible attention.
