I went to a private college and worked hard to earn my bachelor's degree, hoping to build a creative career. After graduating, I was left with a large amount of student loan debt. On top of that, I made some tough choices with credit cards when I was between jobs, relying on minimum payments just to get by. That decision left me with credit card debt that’s been a struggle to get ahead of ever since.

Right now, while I can cover my monthly bills, saving extra is nearly impossible. My fiancé and I want to start our life together, but the weight of my debt makes it hard for us to move forward. Being debt free would give us both a sense of security and allow us to save for our future children, so they don’t have to face the same struggles. To be free of my student loans and credit debt I need a total of $30,000.
