Meet Luna, a gentle soul whose life has been marked by unimaginable hardship—and yet, she still wags her tail with hope.

Luna found herself at a pound and was never claimed-but in that silence, she was given a second chance.

Luna’s frail, broken body speaks volumes. She is painfully thin, with no muscle or fat to cushion her bones. Her skin is marked with pressure sores. Her legs and spine are abnormal possibly from an old accident or deformity. She suffers from ongoing ear and skin infections.

And heartbreakingly, she was bred while in this condition, forced to endure even more trauma that her fragile body could barely withstand.

To make things worse, Luna drinks excessive amounts of water—likely a sign of a serious underlying health condition that needs urgent investigation.

And yet… she is still so sweet. So trusting. So full of quiet hope.

Luna is one of the most gentle dogs you will ever meet. A true big friendly giant. Kind to children, dogs and cats. She just wants to be everyone’s friend.

Luna wants to live. To be loved. To know comfort.

Before she can even be desexed, Luna requires:

• Full bloodwork and veterinary assessment

• Treatment for infections

• Pain relief and care for her spinal abnormalities

• Ongoing medical support for whatever else is uncovered

Her vet care alone is expected to exceed $1,500, not including any additional treatments she may still need. And our rescue is already stretched to breaking point—we’ve had to pause new intakes because our funds are nearly gone after helping so many.
