ACL surgery and recovery fund

Hello, I am Lina Montenegro and I am raising funds to cover part of the hospital and physical therapy expenses that I have been needing after an anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus reconstruction surgery. Unfortunately on July 15, 2023 I was with my ultimate frisbee team at the USAU Pro Elite tournament in Washington D.C. when I suffered the injury during one of the games. This injury left me unable to move due to the torn ligament and the great pain. I am 21 years old and I am from Colombia and I arrived to United States in the summer of 2021 been a tough ultimate frisbee player with the hope of playing this sport (since it has been my great passion for 6 years already) and to start college. I had to move my life, leaving my family, friends and teammates in my country but finding great opportunities here to play and study. Unfortunately, I could not fully cover on my own the necessary expenses to recover in the best way and to be able to play the sport that I love so much again.
