Jerilynn is getting ready to start her battle with Cancer. Unfortunately, this past week she was diagnosed with Stage III Lung Cancer. (Adenocarcinoma) 

Her battle actually started months ago when she had to quit her job that she loved so much due to extreme fatigue, shortness of breath, painful swelling in her legs and a horrible cough. As her symptoms worsened, multiple tests, and a lot of waiting, the unthinkable happened.....the dreadful cancer diagnosis.

As many of you probably know or can imagine,  a cancer diagnosis is not only a physical, mental and emotional hardship, but a financial one as well. Her loving husband Greg is working very long hours to try and support the household and pay for their health insurance. He has had to miss work for doctors appointments and to take care of her when her symptoms were just too much to handle herself. Unfortunately, Greg’s job does not offer paid time off. How are they going to pay for the insanely expensive cost of chemo (which is estimated to be $1200 per month after insurance) on top of the monthly rent and household bills? That’s where I’m hoping we all come in! 

Let’s help ease the financial burden for them!
I know times are tough for so many people right now, so even the smallest amount will help! It will be appreciated more than you know! 

The plan as of right now is 12-16 weeks of treatment. Her doctors are about an hour away from where they live. That’s a lot of time, gas and miles! Her family members will also be taking time off of work to fly out and help where they can. She is just loved so much!

Jerilynn’s daughter Melissa and I have been best friends for over 25 years. So Jerilynn is like a second mom to me. And she is the BEST mom, wife, mama, aunt, sister and friend! She would never ask for the help herself but she DESERVES it! 

You’ve got this Jerilynn, aka Dat One Mom!! Kick this Cancer where it counts! We are all behind you, praying, sending healing thoughts and cheering you on! If anybody can beat this it’s you! We all love you!
