After two long years of IVF and countless emotional and physical hurdles, our beloved friends Jamie and Ryan finally received the miracle they had been praying for—twins. But what was meant to be a joyful journey into parenthood turned into a medical and emotional battle for survival.

At just 27 weeks pregnant, Jamie was rushed into an emergency C-section after experiencing bleeding and contractions. Her beautiful twins, Ella Elizabeth (1.72 lbs) and Asher Gregory (1.98 lbs), were delivered far too soon and immediately airlifted to CU Anschutz Neonatal ICU, where they are now fighting bravely, hour by hour, day by day.

Jamie, a dedicated medical assistant at the Dermatology Center, is a familiar, friendly face to many locals. She and her husband have temporarily stepped away from work to be by their babies’ sides in Denver—facing not only an unimaginable emotional toll, but also a rapidly growing financial burden.
