Help Gabriel to get a Bass!

Hi, we are Ana Patricia Arosemena and Gabriel Borin, an International student married couple studying at Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University.

FORTUNATELY, with y'all help Ana could get her bass recently, but Gabriel STILL NEEDS A BASS, so let's continue donating to help him pursue his dream!

Let us tell y’all a little bit of our story…

After years of dedication and hard work, Ana and Gabriel got their bachelor’s degree in their countries. Gabriel at UNESP in Sao Paulo, Brasil, and Ana at Universidad de Panamá in Panama City, Panama; and their master's degree at the University of Southern Mississippi, which was where they first met. Currently, Gabriel graduated with an artist diploma, and Ana is pursuing a Music Education - Teaching Certificate at CSU, focusing on developing their performance, sound engineering, and teaching skills to a higher level to meet the demands of a music teacher position in the public school system and the professional orchestras. At the same time, they are active community servers around Columbus, GA, where they play instruments, sing, help with sound, and share with and for the community.

As Gabriel's performing career evolves, it is clear that Gabriel needs to acquire his double bass with particular features, which will allow them to keep thriving, despite his financial limitations. Unfortunately, he doesn’t own an instrument and has no way to afford to rent one, much less purchase one without help. As an international student in the United States, his earning potential is limited and barely covers their living costs. The Covid-19 pandemic has added even more hardship through countless cancellations and limitations of opportunities.

God allowed us to meet the most wonderful people through music, and to serve their community anywhere we go by playing and teaching.
