Hi everyone,

This fundraiser is being set up for my cousin, Fritz Funderburgh, during one of the most difficult moments of his life.

Fritz has battled a vascular malformation in one leg. Over the years, this condition caused painful ulcers on his leg and foot, leading to frequent and severe infections. Eventually, these infections became antibiotic-resistant, and despite years of treatments and multiple surgeries, his condition has now become untreatable. As a result, Fritz has had a life-altering leg amputation in September of 2025.

Fritz is a young, hardworking, and fun-loving man who lives life with passion. He plays lead guitar for The Nite Shift Band, is an active Texas Mason, has been a Shriner for many years, and is always willing to give back to his community. He deeply loves his family and friends, and this unexpected and devastating turn has been incredibly difficult for him.

While insurance has covered the cost of his surgeries, it will not cover the cost of a prosthetic leg. Without a prosthetic, Fritz’s ability to work, play music, remain active in his organizations, and live independently will be significantly impacted.

We are asking for help so Fritz can receive the prosthetic leg he needs to regain mobility, independence, and quality of life. Any donation—no matter how small—will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as appreciated.
