Hi my name is Jessica Gardner. I have posted this gofundme in an attempt to avoid homelessness. My life was rocked after suffering dual atonic seizures and two brain bleeds. I was in the ICU for 4 days, though thankful for my life, it has now been changed forever.

I am an entrepreneurial educator at my own Music , Tutoring & Swim School: Blueprint To Success. I am also a Community Leader, Toastmaster, Trumpet Player in “The Zone” music recording group, and so much more.

The deterioration of my health began during our swim season in July, I found myself experiencing severe migraines that pulled me out of the pool. One day the migraine was so bad I felt my head would explode. I couldn’t see nor walk so I called 911 in a panic. I was rushed to the ER. After tests, doctors were unable to diagnose the cause of the migraines. I was released but returned 4 days later.

On this fourth day of extreme migraines, my body gave out upon entering the ER. I had two severe seizures and two brain bleeds that were later discovered, as well.

After being hospitalized for a week and having to shut down my business; I’ve been shattered emotionally, mentally, financially and physically. I lost a week of time while hospitalized and even more time while rehabilitating. I struggled to regain my speech for nearly 3 months after all of this and am still in the recovery phase which takes 12 months or longer for some. I am also still legally unable to drive due to the response of the seizures I endured which makes it difficult to work and properly respond to daily life things. While unable to drive nor work, my bills have stacked up against me and it all feels so overwhelming.

So today I find myself looking for a new place to live this holiday season and ask for any help or a share of this you can provide.
