This is a very devastating time for Colleen and the kids. On October 1st, Mike was arrested and is currently sitting in jail. He has not been convicted at this time, but Colleen anticipates a guilty verdict and that he will serve time, maybe years. We had planned for his death, never his incarceration so now we are left without our primary income.

To support the kids, Colleen has decided to take a refresher course to reinstate her nursing license. The course will take about 6-12 months to complete, then she will be able to work as a RN.

This has been the hardest thing for Colleen and the kids to walk through. Please pray for them, Kade and Jace, who have had to watch this happen; Luke and Amy as they try to come to terms with this while at the University. We all feel abandoned and as Kade says, Mom has cried enough to fill a pool.

If you choose to donate, just know that any funds will go to Colleen's schooling and to support the family until she can get a nursing job. The kids are Colleen's only priority.
