Welcome to the chapter *before I get to tell you all about my new home- where I cook, bake, beach, create, heal and peacefully sleep. My bright sunny future

Recently I left a deeply isolating and abusive relationship. It took everything I had to finally leave and start over. Im proud of that. Im just relieved to be back in a safe familiar place. My host needs have changed, and I’m about to lose my temporary housing. I will be completely without a place to stay within the next *week* - Its not what anybody planned or expected

I don’t have a car or a close family support system, and I’m doing everything I can to avoid ending up unhoused. I love the nightly wildlife, but I am not skilled in raccoon combat.

The *good* news is that Ive been accepted into a domestic abuse support program. It will provide me with counseling, financial strength, health and medical support, and very soon help with my very own housing. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity, and It’s a huge to help restart. This program is a such a blessing - but I’ve got to make it through this in-between stage first.

What I Need Help With:

This fundraiser will go directly toward:

• Temporary housing (amazing summer sublets opening up, hostel, motel, or couch-to-couch stability)

• Local transportation (bus fare, ride shares, or gas tank contributions)

• Basic necessities to stay safe and get to and from the temp home or shelter and work

Even the smallest contribution helps me move one step closer to rebuilding my life in a safe and sustainable way.
