Hi everyone, my name is Carmen, and I am currently a high school senior preparing to graduate and take an important step toward my future. This year represents the end of a chapter that has shaped who I am and the beginning of the life I am working so hard to build.

Throughout high school, I have stayed committed to my education and personal growth. I care deeply about learning, helping others, and becoming someone who makes a positive impact. My long-term goal is to earn my PhD and become a clinical psychologist, working with adolescents and young adults who need guidance, understanding, and support. I want to be the kind of person who helps others both inside and outside the classroom, just like the teachers and mentors who have helped me along the way.

One of the most meaningful opportunities of my senior year is the chance to go on my senior trip to Washington, DC. This trip is more than just travel. It is an educational experience that connects directly to my interests in psychology, leadership, history, and service. Visiting Washington would allow me to see our nation’s history firsthand, understand how change happens, and gain perspective on how people can use their voices to help others.

Unfortunately, the cost of this trip and other senior year expenses are difficult for me to cover on my own. I am doing everything I can to work hard and stay focused on my goals, but I am reaching out for support to help make this opportunity possible.
