Help Barry's Family in Their Time of Need

Hi, my 46 year-old cousin Barry, his wife, and daughter live in Malawi, Africa. All of Barry’s family fled Southern Africa and are now living all over the world.

Barry has been suffering from squamous cell and Melanoma skin Cancer for ten years now. This has recently spread all over his body, causing incredible pain and suffering. Chemotherapy did very little to slow it down, multiple surgeries and ongoing pain medication barely helps his increasing pain. 

Unfortunately, Malawi has no hospice facilities or care available. Medical facilities and care are basic compared to first-world countries. Presently 24/7 full-time home caregivers are in place, all paid for privately. Their savings have gone now and the many bills keep on coming in. 

As you can understand, this has been extremely difficult, stressful and has put a huge financial strain on Barry’s family. His wife “Helene” is a teacher, and his daughter just graduated high school in Malawi. Barry was a swimming teacher until he was too sick to work. 

Unfortunately, Malawi doesn’t allow GoFundMe! So, let’s help relieve some of the financial stress and burden for Barry’s family, for past medical expenses, future expenses, caregiving, funeral expenses which is inevitable sadly. Barry was 36 when he was first diagnosed with skin cancer on his left ear. Growing up in Africa with a family history of melanoma has led to much suffering and pain for his entire family. This has been a huge financial burden for him and his family.
