Many of you know my beautiful friend Barbie, and if you don’t, you should introduce yourself. Barb is a multi-faceted and incredible person, with immense talent, intelligence, patience, and wisdom. She’s a realtor, a teacher, an artist, a mother, a partner, a sister, and a friend. Basically, she’s a bit too busy for something like cancer…but, here we are.

In April 2024, Barb was diagnosed with breast cancer. Her doctors are very positive about her case, but due to family history, no one is taking any chances. Barbie will be undergoing a full mastectomy this month in NYC, where she will stay a few days before recuperating back at home. While she and and her partner Josh have plans in place for transportation, child care, meals, etc., that stuff is still stressful and really adds up, especially since both Barb and Josh will be taking time off of work for her surgery and recovery period.

No one should have to feel stressed over money, or shorten their recovery to worry about paying bills…so let’s make sure that doesn’t happen to this lovely family. All proceeds go directly to Barb and Josh to aid during this scary, stressful, difficult, annoying time. No donation is too small, and words of support are encouraged and welcomed. Thanks everyone.
