Help Ana Nicole Fight for Her Life and Recovery

Hi, family and friends!
I want to tell you a little bit about my recovery. There are aftereffects from those 52 days of hospitalization.
They ran tests on me again. I'm deficient in vitamin D, some liver factors came back above the normal range, but my pediatrician says it's still a consequence of so many days of hospitalization, and my hair is constantly falling out.
They prescribed vitamin D for 9 months and vitamins for my hair.
I want to ask again that you keep me in your prayers so that my recovery can be complete.
I will always be grateful to each person who has supported me.

May God bless you always.
Ana Nicole

Hi!
This is Ana Nicole Simon Archila. I want to thank you deeply for your prayers and financial support that contributed to bringing peace during my hospitalization and recovery process.

I was discharged on May 9, 2025, and remained on gastrostomy feeding for one more week. On June 21, they removed the gastrostomy tube; I was afraid, but the support of my family held me up once again. On July 3, the gastrostomy tube opening finally closed.

Every donation we have received so far, or may receive in the future thanks to generous hearts, will bring us closer to our goal of covering the hospital debt. I sincerely thank you for the peace you gave my parents and me during the most critical moments of the entire hospitalization and recovery process that I am still going through. Your help was and will be invaluable.

May God bless you always.

Hi, my name is Ana Nicole Simon Archila. I was born with a rare genetic condition called Chromosome 14 Syndrome. I’m 23 years old, but I have the neurological development of a 9-year-old. Despite all challenges, I’ve grown up surrounded by love, making progress little by little — learning to walk at 3 thanks to equine therapy and studying in special education programs.

But on March 19, 2025, my life took a drastic turn. I was hospitalized with Mycoplasma, Influenza A, Staphylococcus aureus, Rhinovirus, and Pneumonia. I spent 13 days intubated in intensive care, plus 2 additional critical days. I lost the ability to swallow and came close to losing my life. As I was recovering, I developed sepsis, and my kidneys were affected. But by the grace of God, the power of prayer, and the dedication of the medical team, I survived. I am truly a miracle.

However, my parents are now facing a devastating medical debt of $100,000 USD. Because of my genetic condition, I do not qualify for health insurance in Guatemala, and all expenses had to be paid out-of-pocket. We need your help. Any donation — no matter how small — will help relieve this financial burden and give my family hope to continue caring for me. Your support means the world to us. Please share this campaign and keep me in your prayers. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of my miracle.

With love and hope,
Ana Nicole Simon Archila & Family
