Wrongfully Removed From My Home — Fighting to Clear My Name and Rebuild Stability
My name is Allen Jackson, and I am reaching out during one of the most painful and unexpected moments of my life. I never imagined I would be here. Everything I’ve built, my stability, my home, and my peace, has always come from hard work, responsibility, and doing the right thing. Civil court DENIED the protective order filed against me due to the complete lack of proof or evidence — yet I am still fighting a criminal charge tied to the same false claim. For more than three decades, I dedicated my life to serving my community and supporting my family:
- 22 years with Barnes & Noble Inc.
- 12 years with Walmart Management and Academy Facility.
- Over 10 years as a community handyman through "HandyJacks Services LLC."
- 5 years coaching and mentoring through my own practice, "L.A.Y. Concepts Coaching & Mentoring Service."
- Renovating my home.
- A proud father to a successful 30-year-old daughter and caregiver to my supportive 86-year-old mother.
- Currently completing a degree at Post University Online with a 3.84 GPA
My entire life has been built on consistency, character, and service.
Then, in a single moment, everything changed.
I was hit with false accusations; accusations with no evidence, no injuries, and no truth. Yet those unsupported claims were enough to remove me from my own home and turn my world upside down.
As a 6’5” African American man, I felt the weight of stereotypes the moment the accusations were spoken. He's a big man, as she stated in her complaint to the Magistrate's Office. Before facts were reviewed, before any truth was considered, I was treated as dangerous. The police were effectively weaponized against me, and the fear, assumptions, and judgment that followed were overwhelming.
This situation didn’t just take me out of my home; it took away:
- My peace
- My dignity
- My sense of safety
- The stability I worked decades to build
Now I find myself trying to rebuild my life from the ground up, navigating unexpected expenses, temporary housing, legal battles, protecting my digital and personal information, and trying to retrieve basic belongings from the home I renovated myself.
I have always been strong and have had the ability to support others in need. However, even the strongest individuals can be brought down by something like this.
Today, I’m asking for help not from defeat, but from necessity. This situation is bigger than anything I’ve ever faced, and no one should have to go through something like this alone.
