Help Alayna's Family Through Her Cancer Battle
Donation protected
This is 2-year-old Alayna Yvonne Hartley-Michaud, daughter of Deven and Brittany Hartley-Michaud. Alana is also our great-granddaughter. On Monday, she was diagnosed with pre-B cell lymphoblastic leukemia. Today, she and her parents started a 2-year journey of life-saving treatment. Deven is self-employed. Many of my friends, family, and neighbors know he has taken over my plumbing and heating repair business, "Jim Michaud Heating and Cooling." While his daughter is in the hospital, he and his wife have and will keep a 24-hour vigil by her side. Meanwhile, he has no income, and the expenses are still coming. They also have two boys at home, ages 6 and 8, three dogs, and a cat, who are being cared for by an Aunt. I'm putting out a desperate plea for support from friends, family, neighbors, customers, and all who can help. This is going to be a long, painful, and costly recovery, and they will need all of our support. For those who don't do online payments, cards and gifts can be sent directly to their home at 1184 Woodville Rd, Woodville, ME 04457. They can also be dropped off at the East Millinocket town office with Nicole Witham, a town office employee and grandmother to Alana. Of course, they can be sent to me as well at Jim Michaud, 78 Turnpike Rd, Medway, ME 04460. My hope is that we can help support them and eliminate the financial burden so they can concentrate on their family totally.
