Vinmayi Jhade, just 9 years old, is fighting the toughest battle of her life. She was recently diagnosed with Wilson’s disease, a rare genetic disorder that causes dangerous copper buildup in the body. This has led to acute liver failure, and she is currently on life support at AdventHealth Children’s Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
Doctors have confirmed that a liver transplant is her only chance for survival. She has been placed on the national emergency donor list, and the need for a transplant is urgent.
Vinmayi’s parents, Chandrashekhar Jhade and Krishnaveni, originally from Asifabad Kumuram Bheem district, and her brother Harshith, are by her side as they navigate this unimaginable situation. Their family, based in Tampa, Florida, has been living through a storm of fear, hope, and uncertainty — all this unfolding suddenly within just 10 days, turning their world upside down.
Despite everything, Vinmayi has shown remarkable courage and resilience. She has been fighting for over a week now, and the road ahead will be long — medically, emotionally, and financially. Transplant-related costs, ongoing care, travel, and recovery needs are overwhelming for the family.
The NATS Helpline team is actively working with Vinmayi’s family and providing necessary assistance. In these challenging times, the family needs additional support from our community, so we created this fundraiser to rally around Vinmayi and her family — to help ease their burden so they can focus entirely on her healing.
Every single donation, no matter the amount, brings them one step closer to giving Vinmayi a chance at a healthy future.
Please join us in extending your support to help save her life and stand with the family during this critical time. Your contribution can make a profound difference in Vinmayi’s fight for survival and in her long road to recovery.
Your prayers, love, and support mean more than words can express. Thank you for standing with this family and helping them find strength, hope, and a path forward during the hardest days of their lives.
