Help 8yr boy and his family

Today my sister's 8yr boy was hit by a truck while riding his bike. He got air lifted to the city's. Has of right now we know he has a head injury and a punctured lung and went into surgery. He was unresponsive. She is a single parent. Any help would would help her. Thanks.
