My name is Umesh Pandey, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart to ask for your support in saving the life of my brother’s son, Nehan Thapa—a sweet and courageous 8-year-old boy who is currently fighting blood cancer (leukemia).

Nehan’s battle began in Nepal, where he underwent several rounds of treatment. Unfortunately, his condition became more serious, and the care he needed wasn’t available there. His family made the painful but necessary decision to bring him to India for advanced treatment.

To give Nehan a fighting chance, his family has already spent over 80 to 90 lakhs NPR—every bit of savings, every available resource. My brother, Nehan’s father, even sold their land, their only major asset, to try and keep up with the rising costs of his care.

Now, we are at a breaking point. We urgently need close to 1 crore NPR more to continue his life-saving treatment, which includes intensive chemotherapy, hospital stays, medications, and possibly a bone marrow transplant.

We are doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone anymore. That’s why I’m reaching out to you—with hope in our hearts and deep humility—to ask for your help.
