In Bahrain, abandoned pets are an epidemic. With no breeding regulations, zero awareness of responsible pet ownership, and no government support for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) programs, stray cats suffer, often to death, in the scorching 48°C+ heat.

Despite this, dedicated rescuers pour their hearts, savings, and every spare moment into saving these cats, often going into debt just to cover vet bills, food, and shelter.

Local adoptions are rare, but Whiskers Without Borders will give 8 cats a second chance at the life they deserve at their cat café in San Diego. These cats will fly to their Whiskers and Wine Bar, where they’ll be able to thrive in a loving environment and meet adopters who’ll give them forever homes. (We’ve carefully selected cats who we are sure will adapt well to cat café life on their journey to find their forever home)!
