Hi, my name is Mason Mahaffey and I'm fundraising for the funeral costs of my son John Mahaffey .

The above photo was taken in the hospital shortly after his birth! :)

 

John was 8 days old when he passed away from SIDS in the arms of my wife his mother on September 5th, 2021 and legally declared dead on September 8th, 2021. He was the cutest baby and funniest little guy you could have ever imagined!

 

We are grieving the loss of our son and unfortunately due to astronomical hospital bills, aren't able to afford the funeral we'd like for him.

 

I'm planning on being the one in charge of final expenses. I will tally up all the costs soon once we know more details on what everything will cost and will keep everything transparent.

 

If all funeral costs end up being covered, I plan on returning money to donors, but I'll keep everything transparent and will answer any questions donors may have.
