Help Niaomi through cancer relapse

Baby Niaomi was born on March 27, 2023. She is loved and cared for by her mother Katrina, her father Tyler, her older sister, and her two older brothers. Niaomi is the perfect little baby and is the answer to her mother's prayers for a baby girl. She is a smart and happy baby who hits all of her learning milestones and is always smiling. However, behind her gorgeous smile was an enormous amount of pain.

After multiple doctor’s appointments, multiple recommendations to change her formula, and weeks of screaming in pain during bowel movements Niaomi was given a diagnosis that no child should ever receive. On November 8th 2023, at just 7 months old, her mother Katrina was given the devastating news that baby Niaomi has cancer. On November 10th Niaomi was rushed into emergency surgery that resulted in medical professionals needing to remove one of her kidneys and a large tumor. Niaomi is scheduled to start chemo this week and has a long road to recovery ahead of her.

I am a long-term family friend as well as Niaomi's daytime caregiver. I have created this fundraiser to assist with Niaomi’s growing medical bills as well as to provide a source of income for her mother Katrina to maintain housing, food, and other bills for the family while she is out of work and at her infant daughter’s bedside. Our goal is to raise $100,000 which we can only hope will help alleviate some of the financial burden of surgery, chemotherapy, follow-up appointments, and normal living expenses for a mother of 3 young children.
