Help 76-year old and her pupper avoid homelessness

I am a 76-year old woman on a fixed income and my roommate unexpectedly left. To that end, I am in danger of losing my apartment that I have lived in for over 20 years. If you can help me through this rough patch until I find a new roommate, I would greatly appreciate it, as my situation is dire and my dog and I would be experiencing homelessness.
