I am an oncology nurse who saw the video & am starting this fundraiser to help Burhan Chowdhury with lawn care, home maintenance & bills, & medical bills while he battles cancer. Burhan was fined $100 because his weeds were grown up. His son usually helps his parents but was unable to while he was out of the country. This poor man was struggling to breathe as he explained his situation. It is not the fine that was most hurtful: Judge Alexis Krot berated him, told him he should be ashamed, & told him she would give him jail time if she could. Any donation will go directly to this gentleman to help him hire the help he needs while he focuses on resting and being with his family.
