Our sweet Alison, only 7 years old, is facing a battle that no child should ever have to go through. She was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML), a cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow.

Since her diagnosis, our lives have completely changed. Alison has had to endure treatments, chemotherapy, medical tests, hospital stays, and many difficult days. She is currently receiving treatment at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas, where her medical team continues to care for her throughout this difficult journey.

Through it all, we continue to stand by her side with hope, love, and faith.

There is also an incredible act of love at the heart of Alison’s story: her 10-year-old big sister will be her bone marrow donor. As parents, it is difficult to put into words what we feel watching both of our daughters go through this journey together—one fighting to recover and the other bravely stepping forward to help save her little sister’s life.

We created this GoFundMe to ask for support as our family continues through this long and difficult journey. Donations will help with the expenses and needs that arise while we stay by Alison’s side throughout her treatment and transplant, including transportation, meals, lodging, and other family expenses related to her care.
