Leona is a bright and loving 6-year-old girl with autism. I am her mother and sole caregiver, and together we face each day with hope and determination. In December, we were devastated when Leona's social security disability payments were suddenly cut off. The committee decided she was no longer disabled, leaving us without the financial support we depend on.

As Leona's only caregiver, I am unable to work outside the home, making it impossible to cover our basic expenses like rent, utilities, and transportation to Leona's therapies.
